What to do if you received an invoice

If you received a letter and invoice in the mail asking for payment, CMCR is here to work with you. Give us a call and we will be happy to answer questions and guide you through the next steps.

Yes, this is an actual bill. You are legally obligated to arrange payment or contact us for settlement. Some departments send the bills to collections if we do not get a resolution. We are unable to help once it goes to collections.

Why did the fire department show up if I didn’t call them?

When a call is received at dispatch regarding an accident, quite often the caller is someone passing by and does not know if any injuries have occurred. Even minor accidents can cause whiplash or other injuries. To that end, all accidents are considered serious and require a response. The Fire Department is trained to handle many situations. They arrive on scene and provide a range of tasks such as traffic control which protects the responders as they administer aid, they also supervise the clean-up of debris or liquids that may affect the environment, or even the extreme cases where they must secure an area for a Life Flight.
